Districts: Climax-Shelly Public School District #592 & Fisher Independent School District #600

Climax-Shelly School District #592 and Fisher School District #600 are seeking applicants for the Climax-Fisher Knights Athletic Director position. This position serves both districts and provides leadership and oversight for the cooperative Climax-Fisher athletic program. The Athletic Director will also work collaboratively with partner schools involved in cooperative athletic agreements.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative guidance and oversight for athletic programming
- Coordinate game, event, and practice schedules with coaches
- Arrange officials and establish conference and league schedules
- Coordinate team travel with coaches, schools, and transportation staff
- Recruit, supervise, and support coaching staff
- Maintain safe and orderly athletic facilities and equipment
- Ensure compliance with district policies and Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) rules
- Work with administrators to monitor student-athlete eligibility
- Develop and manage the athletic department budget
- Coordinate responsibilities related to cooperative athletic agreements with Sacred Heart, Riverside Christian, and Crookston Schools
Qualifications:
- Experience in athletics, coaching, education, or athletic administration preferred
- Knowledge of MSHSL rules and regulations preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
